I went to this show on February 25 at Velour, when Jenn Blosil, Emily Brown, Faith Johnson, and Julianne Brough performed.
1. It was so, so grand. There is SO much talent in our little city.
2. Aside from the beautiful music that is always to be heard, there are so many great people that I’ve met just by attending shows. The artists themselves are pretty great, too.
I’m going to use this post to highlight one of my new favorite people that I formally met this last weekend (I always admired from afar, but never knew her personally).
Emily Brown = one of the cutest, most genuine, talented people I’ve met in awhile.

Her voice is a dream, and her personality is too cute to handle. I was able to talk to/hang out with her a couple of times in the past two weeks, and sadly, she played her last shows in Provo (for awhile) because she moved back to California. But something tells me she’ll be back to Provo sometime in the near future. And when she’s back, listen up! you’ll want to see her live.
